Call for Papers We are very pleased to invite you to the PECERA Third Conference, which will be held in Shanghai, China on July 23-25, 2002. Early Childhood Education Researchers are invited to submit proposals for paper or poster presentation. Those proposals accepted will be organized according to the following themes: -Child Development -Early Childhood Curriculum -Early Childhood Teachers -Early Childhood Teacher Education -Services for children with special needs -Multicultural/cross-cultural concerns -Families as Educators -Policy Issues in Early Childhood Education Submission of Abstract, PECERA 2002 · Authors are required to submit two copies of an abstract in English of the proposed presentation. These should be between 250-500 words in length. · At the top of the first page of the abstract, 1) detail the type of presentation (oral or poster), 2) indicate the names of the authors, the institutions in which the main work was carried out, and the location of the institution. Place an asterisk by the name of the presentation author(s). · Abstracts should be printed and formatted in single spaced A4 paper. · Use 12 Times/Times New Roman fonts where possible. · A 3.5" floppy disk formatted for PC or Mac should accompany the abstract. This should be in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect format. · On a separate piece of paper, give the full names, mailing address, fax number and email address of the presenting author(s). Include Audio-visual requirements.
